To be quiet, shy, not talking much.
It is considered a good custom. Only used of females. Males are not observed for their customs.
She is quiet; she doesn’t say much.

That girl doesn’t speak much because she is quiet.
Temmen behe, sārik buli'.
The mouth is quiet, the backside is ‘outgoing’.
Said of a female that seems quiet but acts quite immorally.
Sārik meketipu; temmen meke'ulali'.
Still waters run deep. (Lit. outgoing seeming to be careless; quiet causing one to wonder.)
This saying is used when one suspects a quiet woman of being immoral.
