tama'-tama'

For s.t. to be penetrated or pierced (by a knife or bullet); covered with (wounds or bullet holes).

Tama'-tama' we' punglu' luma'in.

The house has been pierced (many times) by bullets (i.e. full of bullet holes).

Tama'-tama' barannen we' bakat.

His body is covered with wounds.

To become sharp (easily penetrating, of a blade).

Ngatama' ne oro'kun pagkehet pegge' bakas inasa' ne.

My knife has become sharp (penetrating) when cutting because it was sharpened.

ga'i katama'an

Invulnerable, not possible to be pierced or wounded.

As most anything can be pierced or wounded, the term without the ga'i is practically never used.

A'a iyan gey katama'an pineddang.

That person is invulnerable if slashed.

Bang inamāhan bu magsaye hadja ubus ga'i katama'an inamāhan.

If someone is scolded and he just laughs, he is invulnerable to scolding.
