To place the threads in groups (on the back beam of the weaving loom).
After the warp has been wound the breast beam esusen is inserted. The threads are then placed in groups tagik over the back beam dēddug so that the strands won’t get tangled while the loom is being set up. At this point the warp can be stretched and tightened already. Next the shed roll būngen is inserted which separates the upper and lower threads. Next the threads are inserted into the comb. After this the pattern is chosen.
