A type of weaving.
Traditionally skirts and blouses were made of this type of weaving. The patterns of the horizontal stripes of the skirt are partly made of thicker thread that is put on a shuttle rather than being inserted by hand as in the type of weaving called bunga sama. The material used for blouses is entirely made of sewing thread and has the same pattern all over. It is iridescent.
Her tubular skirt is a woven sarong.
