Storage container for rice.
It is made of bark, sewn together, to hold up to 12 sacks. It has no bottom and is put on the floor or outside on rice straw. On the bottom and top bamboo strips are fixed to keep it round. There are also bamboo supports for the walls on the inside and outside.
The container for rice of former generations was a bark storage container.
