The areca (betel nut) palm and its nut (in the unripe stage).
Areca catechu
It is still green and soft and does not require scraping and pounding for use in the betel chew. The green one is preferred over the ripe one pela which is reddish-orange in color.
When you come back bring me some areca nuts so that I will have some for my chew.
