It is a square cloth structure (like a mosquito net) with thin bamboo poles inserted in the upper edges and suspended with string. It is used to house the bride at a wedding. The kulambu' belongs to her afterwards. Nowadays a kulambu' is just borrowed for the wedding. In old times (and even now) it was used by the couple for sleeping in. It is usually decorated with application kaban buddi.
A'a metu'uhin bang niya' magkawin subey pinadiyalem kulambu' pangantin dendehin.
For the older people if someone gets married the bride should be under a canopy.
