To be countable, be decimated, having become few, reduced in number (so as to be (almost) countable).
Ngayu'-ngayu' sa' a'ahin bang ubus ne bono'in.
The people will have become few when the fighting is over.
Ngayu'-ngayu' sa' kayu dem gulanganin.
The trees in the forest have been decimated.

To do s.t. to people individually.
Pesōng hadja ka'am kēmon gey ne ka'am kinayu'-kayu'.
