Patchwork decoration (on canopies, mattresses and sometimes pillow cases).
The decoration is put on the edges. It consists of triangles of four colors stitched together to make two squares of two colors each. E.g. blue plus white and green plus orange. The squares then are repeated. On either side of this row, rows of smaller triangles are sewn.
