bigtal
N-, mag-
To pull s.t. tight, to stretch out s.t. (as a rope or wire or clothes on a line).
For some ceremonies a cloth-screen is put up in the prayer-house between the sections for men and for women. The cloth is suspended from a rope and most of the time pushed to one side. When it is wanted, it is stretched or pulled bigtal across the room.
Bakas ku migtal pahayanganku.
I have pulled my clothesline tight.
