To aggravate, irritate (a wound).
Used also of a relapse after sickness esp. after having inflammations and/or wounds if one gets up and moving too soon.
Pa'in sa'inen si anakne mabakatin, “Da'a dahu' bo'ohun magbangkug-bangkug bakatnu iyan.”
The mother says to her wounded child, “Don’t aggravate that wound of yours.”
Da'a bangkugun bakatnu iyan duk mura kewuli'an.
Don’t irritate that wound of yours so it will heal easily.
