Verbs used in connection with plants 01.13

lagsi' To peel, come off (said of skin or bark).
laruk To slide s.t. down a sloping surface (esp. of tree trunks).
mānas To drop (on its own accord, of fruit).
sekkat To divide (a plant in order to start a new one).
seppak To break (or cut) off s.t. at its base (of a branch.
silung To wait (in the vicinity of a tree for fruit to drop).
sisi' To remove (skin of an animal or bark of tree); take off (skin or bark).
tebba' To cut down (a banana plant to get the fruit).
tebbeng To fell (a tree).
tilang To shell s.t., remove shells or pods.
toto'1 To prune (trees).
