To trim a bush, tree, hair, or the edge of grass; to pick leaves off a plant or tree.
The -an imp. is used when the thing being trimmed is in the way. Actor focus seems to be able to be interchanged with or without -an unless emphasis is being made on removing something in the way.
Soy bay ngattob kuhun ni haman ku?
Who trimmed the edge of the grass in my yard?
Kattobun do' dawun kari naa man ku mutus daying tuu.
Pick some of those taro leaves so I can wrap this fish.
