For someone (agent muɴ-) to shake out finely pounded grain (theme i-) from the coarser grains (loc ref -on) with a winnowing basket or wide dish (inst puɴ-).

It is good to shake out pounded corn so that (the grains) that were not pounded will be separated so that those with teeth will eat that.
Finely pounded rice is used as a paste in making yeast balls, bino'bo'; corn is first roasted, then pounded, shaken out, and the fine grain, hinanglag, is eaten without further preparation; coffee beans, kapi, are roasted, pounded, shaken out and the fine grains are used for brewing coffee.
