For someone (agent muɴ-) to completely drain water (theme i-) from a pond field; to completely open an interplot spillway, gūheng (theme i-).
The gate, hagnong, of an interplot spillway, is completely removed and the opening is sometimes deepened to allow for rapid and complete drainage. This is often to prevent mudfish from burrowing deeply into the mud to avoid being caught.
