This is the class name which includes such spirits as gullūnan, lumukīluk, pa''īpa', tanggāwan and others. These spirits are appealed to for help during omen bird prayers, umīdaw 2.

Omen bird prayers are recited during traditional religious ceremonies, bā'i 1b, in connection with the following: dispute settlement contest, haddā'an; waylaying an enemy, ngāyaw; headhunting enactment ritual, bahbah2; a violent death, bināgung.
