There are four to eight inside rafters between the four roof-ridge rafters, dūgu, one to two on a side. Near the peak, they rest on the roof-bearing disk, binnūlon, to which they are pegged and extend to the peak; near the center they are tied with rattan to the ceiling beams, lī'ub, and outside ceiling joists, hagpaw di lī'ub. Near the bottom they are pegged to the eaves purlins, putit.
