An eel basket trap; cylindrical, made of bamboo, būlu, or atulbung reeds, with a triggered wooden door at one end which, when tripped, closes tightly.
The trap is about 115 cm. long and 20 cm. in diameter. Loop ribs, bī'uh 1, are tied to longitudinal strips, odol 3, with transverse strips, pa'an 1, woven into the transverse strips. A bait container, tu'ong, filled with small crabs, aggāhel, allama, is placed at the end of the trap, opposite the door.
