A bark-pounding tool, used to pound bark or bark fibers.
For pounding bark fiber, the tool may be made of wood, about 25 cm. long; a stone, bohal 2, is also used. The tool for pounding bark for making walling material, gāub, or a mat, luwit, is made of wood and is about 55 cm. long.

For someone (agent muɴ-; s agent maN-) to pound bark, bark fiber or spun yarn (loc ref -on) with a pounding tool (theme i-), to soften it.

Fiber is pounded in preparation for twisting, lūlug, to make rope, or spinning, lūbid, to make yarn for weaving. For spinning, fiber is first rolled into a ball and gently pounded to soften it for splitting into fine threads, īgoy. Spun yarn, wound into skeins, niwalangan, is pounded again to make it pliable for weaving.
For someone (agent) to use a particular tool (inst paN-) for pounding, as described above.
