For something with wings (actor or agent & inst) to fly carrying someone or something (theme i-), as an aeroplane which flies people, a hawk which flies with a chicken, a bird with grass or twigs.
For someone (agent) to let something (theme ipa-) fly, as to set free an omen bird, īdaw, caught in a trap; to fly a kite, kāit.
