A rice-beer dish.
Made of wood, about 20 - 30 cm. in diameter. Used during the performance of traditional religious ceremonies, bā'i, or anytime communal drinking of rice beer is engaged in. Rice beer is poured into the dish and dipped out and drunk with the use of a drinking bowl, ūngut. Reserved for this purpose to avoid the smell and taste of rice beer on eating dishes.
