Non-genitive verbs are inflected by either non-past tense affix m- or past tense affix n-: mi'i-, ni'i-. The substantive with a primary role relationship to the verb is either an actor or agent.

Genitive verbs occur without tense inflection to indicate non-past tense, or by past tense affix n-: pi'i, ni'i-. The substantive with a primary role relationship to the verb is one of the following, instrument:
