For someone (agent muɴ-; s agent maN-) to dry-cure meat (patient i-, -on), especially carabao meat, beef, deer with the use of sunlight, potang, or a fire, apuy (inst paN-).

Pinindang Aligūyun nan ulha ta malāngud adi mabulu'.
Aligūyun dry-cured the deer so it would be dry and not be spoiled.
Meat is cut thin, salted, and either put on a rack with a smoking fire under it to smoke-cure, or put in strong sunlight and sun-cured. It is then wrapped tightly in banana-leaf material, dāun, and hung on a string for storage.
