The mind of a person.
Occurs with a qualifier, either as a phrase with an or as a sentence with di: 1) maphod an nomnom, maphod di nomnom A good mind; refers to one who is ethically and morally good, as a kind, gentle or helpful person; one who carefully conforms to socially admired conduct. 2) nappūhin nomnom, nappūhi nomnom (opposite from 1). A bad mind; refers to one who thinks evil thoughts or to one who engages in socially unacceptable conduct, as adultery or theft. 3) nakudang an nomnom, nakudang di nomnom. Simpleminded, of one who has an extremely low intelligence quotient. 4) Ongol an/di nomnom A large mind; of one who always remembers, especially in doing good, thus is thoughtful. 5) he'he'dod/ītang an/di nomnom (opposite from 4) A short or small mind; of a forgetful or thoughtless person. 6) ma'andong an/di nomnom A straight mind; of one who is wise, who gives good advice. 7) mibahhaw (or napiku) an/di nomnom (opposite from 6) An incorrect mind, of one who does not think clearly, is unwise and gives poor advice. 8) mipangngel an/di nomnom A biased mind, of one who favors one person over another. 9) Existentials also occur with nomnom in a sentence construction: waday nomnom Has a mind; i.e., can remember, thoughts are clear and normal. mi'id di nomnom No mind; i.e., can't remember, thoughts are unclear and aberrant.
