A second post-marriage bride-wealth payment, given to the parents of a girl, usually following the marriage, as part of a set of first or second class bride-wealth payments.
Payment follows a first post-marriage bride-wealth payment, dohol, and is about three-quarters the value of the latter, ranging in size from a medium-to-large pig, mahindālan, to a small-to-medium pig, mabinuhlan. For a description of post-marriage bride-wealth payments, see dohol.
