Hay ma'ulānit di iyammah pā'aw nan gayang ta adi nalakan ma'īpung.
That which is strong and resilient should be used in making the shaft of a spear so that it will not easily break.

Nan napāyad an tāgu ya ma'ulānit an umuy muntāmu ti humiga.
As for a lazy person he is dilatory in going to work because he is bored.
Ma'ulānit nan tāmu' hi mapuh ti nalīgat.
My work is drawn out in being finished because it is difficult.
