mawēet
ma-
Tomorrow, i.e., the next daytime, nawā'ah, and/or following nighttime, nahdom, period, following this present time, or any specified time within these designations.
Awni ta mawēet hi mahoyang ya unna' umuy mangāyiw.
Wait until tomorrow during early morning and then I will go to get firewood.
When this construction occurs as a sentence introducer, hi or awni ta optionally precedes mawēet; as part of a sentence time margin, mawēet is preceded by hi. A specific time of day or night within the general time designations indicated above may be specified by hi or hinan followed by either a time verb or temporal verb phrase inflected for non-past tense, or by a time noun. See mā'et for examples.
