A very fine hair-cleansing clay, usually a light cream color, used as a hair-cleansing agent.

The following have traditionally been used as hair-cleansing agents: lime, ambali, the juice of which is squeezed onto and massaged into the hair; the pounded root and lower stem portion of the atullab plant; hair-cleansing clay, loglog 1; ashes of rice straw, ūlut. Currently, shampoo and soap, hobon, are mostly used.
