A stipend, paid during harvest, īwang, for harvesters, either in money or bundles of harvested rice, inlagbūan; paid a go-between, mun'ālun, for negotiating an agreement, on the basis of a traditional pay rate.
Inwānah Uddāpon din pāguy an lagbun din immuy numboto' hi payawna.
Uddāpon distributed the rice which was the stipend of those who went to harvest in his fields.
Harvesters are not said to earn, bo'la, their remuneration; they receive a harvest stipend. Workers transplanting rice, however, earn rice or money for their work.
