I securely tied the tying material of the cargo and so it will not be loosened.
Knots are used to extend the length of a cord, to tie cord on boxes, bundles of corn by tying the husks together still attached to the cobs; tying a bundle of material in making a broom, hīgid. Other bundles are not tied by this method: rice bundles are tied by twisting the cord, pulīpul; bundles of wood, grass, canes, and in general any bundle tied with two bands are tied by twisting one or both ends, pulīpul, and tucking it securely into the band, hu'bit 1b.
