A two-pole prop.
Usually constructed of two crossed poles forming a V near the top; also a single pole with a stout branch near the top, forming the V. That propped up is placed in the V either in horizontal position or with one end of a linear object resting on the ground. Used to prop a waterspout, hāyug, sluicing trough, tulālu', a slanting tree, sagging bridge, etc.
