ha'lub
For two people (agent muɴ-) to embrace each other (loc ref), as a husband and wife in sleeping together.
For someone (agent -um-; s agent maN-) to embrace someone (loc ref -on) with one or both hands(theme i-).
pana'lub; mana'lub
This is accomplished as follows: 1) Standing, as when engaging in a modern dance such as a waltz. 2) Sitting on one's haunches. The person, typically a child, is drawn up between the thighs, back to the one embracing him or her. 3) Lying down. The person may face the one embracing him or her or have his or her back to that person in a cradle position.
For someone (agent) to use one or both hands (inst paN-) for embracing, as described above.
