A colander basket.
Relatively flat, from about thirty to fifty centimeters square with a loose weave of bamboo, ānoh, bī'al, with a zigzag pattern, lāga 2, with a lip, bāli, tied with rattan, uway. It is used as a colander to scoop up edible aquatic invertebrates, gīnga; or mudfish, bolog; in a pond field, allowing the water to strain through the loose weave; also used as a receptacle for large uncooked or cooked foods; for washing vegetables by allowing water to drip through the weave; for drying coffee, fish.
