Occurs as part of a verb chain, see sec. 7.19. The time for something to happen or for a state to exist may be expressed optionally by gutud followed by a third singular pronoun -na, then by a referent ligature hi and a verb inflected for time.
Gutūdna hi pun'eblayan tu'ud ugwan.
It is its time with reference to our resting now, i.e., now is the time for us to rest.
For the time of a happening or state involving someone or something (actor & theme ma-) to arrive.
Agguy nagtud di a'alan nan pāguy ti agguy natong.
The time for harvesting the rice has not arrived because it is not ripe.
