Halimūnanyu nan nalā'ay an ommodyu ta adi munggitgit ti nappūhi.
You should care for your elderly parents so that they will not curse (you) because that is bad.
A common form of cursing by elders is to wish upon an offspring their own misfortune:
Adāogna! Ya malā'ay ayu ya ipanāyun goh da'yu hi imbabaluyyu ya a'apūyu an umat hinan inatyun ha''in.
May you be in good health! And when you are old you will also be neglected by your children and grandchildren like you have done to me.
