Gravel fill for a stone-wall terrace.
Mixed with fill soil, ādog, it is ideal fill for the space between the interior hard-packed earth surface of a stone wall and the earth or rock slope on which a terrace is constructed. Gravel fill adds strength to the terrace core. Also used to construct a drainage conduit, tūbub, for ground water in a terrace interior.
