Corn of a maize plant.
Used mainly as feed for chickens and ducks. It is sometimes popped, binti, or roasted on the cob, pāga, and eaten as a snack food. Tender corn, inādah, is cut off and boiled as a side dish, mihda, or prepared as a brothy moistener, hibul. More mature corn is pounded, inūhul, and cooked as a main dish, ma'an.
