For someone (actor) to sense, experience, detect something (loc ref -on), as someone's presence, attitude; one's imminent death; to experience something (loc ref -on) with a sense organ, as pain, a sharp taste, the throbbing beat of a gong.
Enelan han ung'ungngay dogoh nan tuli'na.
The child experienced the pain of his injection.
Agguy'u enelan din himmāpit ti nolō'a'.
I did not experience that one who was talking because I was asleep.
Enelan Butit di pāit nan paktiw at adīnan ipīdwa.
Butit experienced the austere taste of the peppers and so he didn't repeat (tasting them).
The passive form, patient focus, is translated `for something to be experienced; to be known.'
Ma'elan nan pāit di paktiw hi un ihda.
The austere taste of the peppers is experienced if eaten (as a side dish).
Na'elan nan ugālin nen lalā'i an nappūhi.
The character of that man is known in that it is bad.
Senses involved are feeling, elan; smell, hunghung; hearing, dongol; and taste, tamtam. Sight, tīgaw, is not included.

Focused item, that of which one is careful, is rarely expressed.
Elam hinan dālan ti mapūlig'a.
Be careful on the path because you might roll down.
Okod hiyan umuy ti elāna ti agguy na'abbūtong.
He can go by himself because he will be careful because he is not very drunk.
