Shared produce; i.e., the produce shared by one caring for an animal, chicken or pond field and the owner.
The custom is for one who has many animals and/or chickens to loan out a female to someone who has none. The latter is responsible for the care of the animal or hen. He may keep the first litter of young but thereafter must divide litters with the owner. About half or more of the produce of a field is kept and the remainder given to the owner.
