For someone (agent muɴ-; s agent maN-) to cut up an animal, or chicken (patient -on) into primary cuts with a suitable knife (inst i-, paN-).
pamu'li; mamu'li
The feet with legs to the leg joint and tail are cut off and given to children as their special portion. The first two cuts are from the neck on either side of the chest, including rib tips, on either side of the stomach, down to and including the sex organs. The second cut removes the lower belly, dālom, and sex organs, uyut, in one piece, which are then separated from each other. Next, the upper belly, ābab, is removed. This exposes the internal organs, intestines and stomach which are removed. Next, the chest portion is cut out, boga'. The torso is then divided into three pieces: first the hind third, nun'ekom, is cut off, and then the middle, bonog, and upper third, boga', are divided. This initial butchering results in eight divisions. For a description of secondary cuts, see gōgod.
