A fine for a sexual offense, imposed on a man who takes unacceptable liberties with a woman whose husband is living with her.
The following are examples: 1) Tries to enter her house when she is inside without her husband. To actually succeed constitutes adultery, in which case an offense-against-spouse adultery fine, gībuh, is imposed. 2) Intentionally touches her body, especially a private part. 3) Takes liberties with her only allowed a husband as, e.g., to take a betel nut out of her hand or which she has put down, without permission; 4) Engages her in animated and intimate conversations; talks too often to her or is found too often in her company. The fine typically consists of a pig, a spear, and a bolo.
