A cocoon of the larvae of various insects, but especially of a butterfly larva, bēgeh.
A large cocoon about 8 - 10 cm. long and 3 cm. in diameter is used as a pouch for tobacco, tabā'u, or flint tinder, omo'. It is tied at the opening with a string.
