A rice planting work season.
The season begins with the preparation of seedbeds to plant seeds for seedlings and ends with the completion of transplanting rice seedlings in pond fields. There are two rice planting work seasons, āmun di tiniyalgaw, `rice-planting work season for main crop rice', which ideally occurs during the month Ohyab around the middle of November, and āmun di linawang, `rice planting work season for second-crop rice, which ideally occurs during the month It'itīna around the end of June'.
