An alīnaw tree (Annonaceaea Goniothalamus elmeri Merr) growing in forested areas.

alīnaw bark fiber, used as cord, especially for tying rice sheaves, and for other tying needs.
The bark shell is removed, ukwa' 2, the outer layer is skinned off, gūdah, it is soaked, tamul, for several days, washed and dried, lāngu. It is stored and fibers are stripped off as needed.
