aggūhaw
A large cycas plant, Cycas Rumphii.
Children collect clusters of modified brown leaves, sporophyls, from the female plant and use them as receptacles into which they put soft, immature rice with salt. The receptacle is turned upside down and shaken to remove a few grains at a time for eating.
