For a male to have himself circumcised; to circumcise a
male.
Young boys are circumcised when they are around 9 or 10
years old. There is usually an older man in the community
who knows how to do this. After the circumcision, the boy
cannot do any heavy work, like fetching water, for a week
or two. Sometimes they wear native wrap-around skirts so
that clothing won't touch the wound while it is healing.
