A trap used for catching land crabs, made from a section of
bamboo.
There is a spring-loaded closure on the trap. When the crab
goes inside and touches it, the trap closes so the crab can't
get out.

There are many land crab here near the well, I should lay
traps
for
them so that the well water won't be cloudy
anymore.
If the crabs dig down deep near a well, the loose earth can fall into
the well and make the water cloudy.
