Scapular necklace.
These are two small rectangular pieces of brown plastic or metal,
engraved with Catholic religious symbols. The two rectangles are
connected by strings and worn as a necklace, with one hanging in
front and one in back. Some people believe that if a person dies
wearing a scapular they will go straight to heaven.
